There are two large potholes just south of the junction of the B2116 with the A281 and as they are on a fast piece of road it is not possible to take pictures

A hole appeared in the middle of the road some time ago. The hole has got larger as time has gone on, and now when a bus or lorry goes past the house the whole house shakes. I am very concerned that this is causing structural damage as there is increased lorry traffic due to the building works at the old Beach hotel site and busses at least every 10 minutes. This has been reported but no action has been taken. If it is not repaired as a matter of urgency and there is any structural damage, the council will be held responsible for temporary accomodation and repairs.

Pot hole in the centre of the road. Over the last few weeks the hole has been getting larger. Now when a lorry or bus passes over the the pot hole the house vibrates, as there is now lots of extra lorry trafic beceuse of the on going building work at the site of the now demolished beach hotel. I am getting very concerned that structural damage is being caused by the weight of traffic and the hole. This was reported by phone some time go, but nothing has been done. If the hole is not repaired as a matter of urgency and structural damage is caused, then the council will be held responsible for temporary accomodation and repairs.

The three-way ttl on A259 are causing un acceptable delays. At 10pm 0n 20th May ,with very light traffic it took 3mins to go through phasing to allow me to travel westbound. At 6pm 21st May the Tesco roundabout was grid locked with traffic trying to avoid lights by going into Littlehampton . This caused west bound traffic to tail back through the ttl blocking eastbound traffic. It took over 15mins to pass through going west and probably longer going east. An examination by qualified traffic engineers of the operation of these lights is needed to reduce the problems
